We had a lovely stay in Sauvigny! We were warmly welcomed by Natascha and Mark—they are incredibly hospitable. We went on some nice trips in the area and then enjoyed cooling off in the pool in the afternoon. We had complete privacy and the pool was entirely ours—such a luxury! During these warm days, the house stayed pleasantly cool inside, and we also spent a lot of time outside in the garden—it was so peaceful. We had a wonderful holiday and recommend this place to everyone!

A very pleasant gîte in a surprisingly rich area in terms of nature and culture. There are many places nearby that are truly worth a visit. Beautiful historic buildings in Paray, Digoin, Autun—and don’t forget the towns along the way. Bourbon-Lancy is beautiful, historic, and offers excellent gastronomy. There’s a well-stocked wine cellar in Bourbon-Lancy, so you don’t have to drive far to buy Burgundy wines and wines from other regions.

The gîte has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. (We rated it a 9 because, given the way we cook, we often need at least four burners and more pans.) In good weather, the terrace is perfect for barbecuing.

And then the amazing pool: perfect for relaxing after a bike ride, swimming, with good seating and lounge furniture—you can choose between sun or shade.

There are easy cycling routes nearby (like along the Canal du Loire), as well as more challenging ones. The same goes for walking. Don’t miss the short walk around the gîte itself. Birds of prey and songbirds can be seen in the area. We even spotted a golden oriole. Also saw badgers, deer, and a fox. The friendliness and hospitality of Mark and Natascha must also be mentioned.

In short: a highly recommended place to stay.

A gîte that provides everything you need, located in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Hosts who respect your privacy and gladly share, among other things, the delicious figs and other fruits from the beautiful garden. Definitely recommended!

Had a great stay at Sauvigny3, where Natascha and Mark warmly welcomed us and provided excellent service. The house is fully equipped. Kitchen suitable for simple meals. Lovely terrace available. Great environment for cycling, but you shouldn't mind a bit of climbing. The surrounding area also has surprisingly nice towns/villages (Moulins, Vichy, Autun). Bourbon-Lancy is nearby and has an excellent restaurant La Grignotte and a good supermarket BI1.

The stay at 3 Sauvigny was pleasant. A warm welcome from the owner who was always ready to help, for example, when the Wifi went out. The cottage is neat, well-kept, and fully equipped. The patio attached directly to the cottage was nice to stay at in the nice weather. The garden that belongs to it (according to the booking information) is only accessible from outside and is then connected to the owners' house, which makes it less easy to use. That is something that could be mentioned in the description. Furthermore, this gite is definitely recommended!

We've enjoyed our week here immensely. The cottage is very quiet and well-insulated. It is fully equipped with amenities like streaming television, a comprehensive kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher, a luxurious, spacious bathroom with an Italian shower, and 2 spacious bedrooms with ample closet space. Outside, there's a lovely garden with seating areas. Additionally, there's a beautiful shared garden with a heated swimming pool and a comfortable poolhouse. The owner is very kind and helpful whenever possible. We made trips to, among others, Morvan, Lyon, Vichy, and drove a wine route. Highly recommended!
